Consulting Services:
I will discuss with a client, either by telephone, email or a personal visit, the purpose of the appraisal and the intended use of the appraisal. Also, if a client wants to sell items but does not want them included in a formal appraisal report document, I will recommend to the client an auction house, dealer or collector who may be interested to buy or take on consignment the client's item(s). Other consulting services could be, for instance, my recommendation of a museum or institution that may accept a client's item(s) that the client wants to donate as a charitable contribution for an income tax deduction, documented with an estimated fair market value in a formal typewritten appraisal report.
